It is like even Hot Toys knew Season 3 was a stinker...

So with all the parts thrown in here to update others into their S3 versions, the only figures they really need to release are armored Gideon and the new Mandalorian-ish Troopers.

I for one would be very happy if they managed to get through Season 3 with just 3 releases.

I personally think this is a fun release with some extras for folks who might want to upgrade one of the existing figures. I'm more into just the IG-12 and Grogu but won't complain about the new shoulder signet for Bo. I do feel bad for all of you still wishing for Andor figures. It just doesn't seem likely at this point. It was good show, although I don't find it to be the Citizen Kane of Star Wars that many of you do...it just doesn't translate to interesting mass market figures. Just my opinion...

Interesting additions. I guess I can now hope for the Armorers jetpack to be added as a throw-in to another figure at some point.
Her armor doesn't have attachment accessory. So she needs another armor unless HT invents a way to attach jetpack.

Lame that the 2.0 bo teaser is using the current sculpt, don't like it at all and mine's just sitting in the box. Hope it's just a placeholder.

The mando also looks like a "clean" version.

I’ll look to pick up IG11 on the cheap now, no interest in this or indeed anything from the abomination that was Mando s3. Grumpy Babu Frick swearing was the only good thing about it.

Almost 300 US for this in HK.
Agreed - I'd buy an exclusive pack that just had Babu Frik (and friends) with a box full of random tools, droid parts, a workbench, and other workshop-related bits, but this set seems really odd and random. Instead of all these accessories coming with the figures they belong to as they should have, they are all jammed into the IG-12 pack? It is clearly a gimmick to get everyone to buy this set whether they want IG-12 or not ... pass.

Lol, saw this version of IG coming from a mile away. Life isn't complete without a new variation of a plastic grogu, because lord know we need more grogu and a bunch of uninspiring accessories. I'm sure this will appeal to someone though, thanks Hot Toys. Good grief

This isn't a collectible set, it a playset. This is the easiest pass HT has offered in a long time. Won't rant too much here, but I for one want my eyeballs to heal from that insanely bad third season of Mando, not commemorate it with a set that features accessories that should've been included with the characters. The glowing shoulder gun? Why wasn't that just added to the v2 Paz that hasn't been produced and released yet? The chrome paldron and Frisbee shield for Bo? Why wasn't that saved for the rooted hair v2 that's previewed here?

The concept of a big accessories-laden set is a good one...just not this. From the logic-defying "salvage" of IG-11 into a talking baby stroller to the insipid recycling of the Babu people, this is one release that gets a big " NO"

And still no Andor. Hell, HT will probably put Lizzo up for PO before anything from Andor is ever considered by HT. What is it that Howard has against that show?
This is a great question. I think back to the Rise of Skywalker Rey that originally only had her Reforged Skywalker Lightsaber and D-O and then upon release included her new lightsaber and Leia's lightsaber. Whether that was the plan to begin with and they didn't originally show it to protect the story, idk and can't remember. I don't remember if that was shown before or after the movie came out 🤷 but regardless, they could've definitely added that shoulder gun to Paz.

That said, I get what they're going for here. It's definitely a way to get some items out to people without buying another version of a figure they own. I mean, Paz already exists so if someone who already has it buys this set they can get that gun and even use Bo's shield for it. I think HT should look into pure accessory sets personally. I think a lot of them would sell well.

When I look at everything individually there's not much I would want. I have two B-Ks (for displaying with & without her helmet on), so adding the shield and signet shoulder armor to one would further differentiate between them. And adding the glowing blaster to my Heavy Infantry Mando would be cool. But beyond those I don't see much appeal. The jetpack, shield and baton for Mando would only detract from his look (especially without a Gideon minion to fight), and Grogu's pram is redundant (based on how many Grogus that are already littered throughout my SW display I'm convinced he's actually a Tribble lol). The Anzellans are somewhat appealing but if done to scale they'll be what, 1-1/2" tall? Unless you're planning on having them work on a prone IG-12 in your display they'll be practically microscopic, plus they'll likely be 100% plastic with limited design detail & articulation.

Regarding Andor, at the very least they should make Cassian as he complements figures they've already released (Jyn, K2SO, etc.). And they should include B2EMO because people love droids lol...

Okay...

Seen on FB about six months ago in a Star Wars mini group. This exquisitely-painted figure does not belong to me, wish he did:

I'd be wanting to add orange "reflected light" to my HT thigh armor too if I owned that figure, but thats just me.

Oh heck yeah the Anzellans!!! Gonna have to pick it up!!

Specs say they're approximately 4.5cm tall (@1-3/4"), same as the included Grogu. Grogu is either shrunk down to fit in IG-12 or in a seated position, as standing the one that came with Ahsoka is just a hair under 2-1/2". To give you a better idea, the Anzellans will be the same height as the miniscule Baby Groots that HT threw in with a few of the GoTG2 characters:

It’s a nice concept and I like that they’re wisely choosing to bundle the minor pieces in a set, but the whole season left me feeling like Favreau and Filoni cannot properly flesh out ideas or plots and are simply using this as a merchandise machine (which I guess can be said for all of Star Wars).

If and when they release the Super Commandos I’ll definitely grab some of them because I love the concept of Mandalorians that sided with the Empire aka Rebels, but that’s about it. Maybe Gideon in his suit but even that was pretty cringe, plot wise.

I'm moving my collection in a different direction now, so this doesn't effect me, however, I like the idea of HT releasing accessory packs to add to previously released figures.
Interesting how they're showing a Bo with rooted hair to show her new accessories. Does this mean they're doing a Bo 2.0 with rooted hair but this accessory pack is for those fans don't want to buy a new Bo?
The red barrel for big blue when they're already doing a new version of him? Why not just release the new barrel for that figure?
Is that a clean version of chrome painted Mando?

I like the concept but I'm a little confused with the execution.

Yeah I enjoyed Andor but can't remember one memorable, defining outfit that any of the characters wore, that would be worth making into a figure. And if we were ever going to get a Cassian I'd still rather it be from Rogue One.

Pretty hilarious release; it's the season three accessory pack! :ROFLMAO: Honestly makes a lot of sense considering all of these figures are still in stock (except for Paz who's already up for pre-order), and none of their costumes really changed. But then what are they saving the custom rooted Bo-Katan head for?
