Considering there's only 2 good SW movies, and 1 great one, being in the top 5 doesn't mean much.
🤔 😁 🖖
I can't disagree with this, although I can come up with a competent top 5:
  1. ESB (great)
  2. SW (great)
  3. ROTJ (very good)
  4. ROTS (very good)
  5. RO (good)
Everything else is pretty much hot garbage when it comes to movies and the TV shows. Mando S1 and S2 were 'very good', and I'm glad I haven't seen S3 and never will. I'd like to watch Andor one day, but I doubt I could be bothered.

I think you just wrote the headline for The Onion.
Biggest issue of Crystal Skull to me was that it didn't match up with the other movies visually. It was too polished and cgi looking. The fridge escape was no worse than the raft escape in Temple of Doom. I have found really enjoyable parts in all Indy movies but overall nothing comes close to the perfection of Raiders. I will see the new one and I am sure there will be parts I like as well. I have gotten the posters for all of the movies and I like the newest poster for this one as well. It is nice to see artwork on a poster again.

I agree with the above points. I actually recall being "on the edge of my seat" during the nuclear test scene, no idea how he was going to get out of that. (Never thought once, "Quick, get in the meat drawer!") I link Raiders - Crusade as the Historical Artifact flicks, and Doom - Skull as the Mystical Artifact movies. I'll never go back to Crystal Skull, but there are moments. I'm pretty sure I'll stream Dial though. I have a really good TV now. 😁

I just didn't have any emotional connection with CS. I had grown up with the other 3 Indy films. Oh and CS was steaming pile of :poop:

For me the one I always go back and watch is Raiders. That movie is lightening in a bottle and can never be surpassed for me. My favorite movie of all time.

As I recall George now has issues with the famous Swordsman scene because it was too violent for the character. I'm sure if he had his way he'd CGI in a second shooter. 😆

Your reply has nothing to do with what I said. I said that any time a Disney Lucasfilm movie has been disliked by the critics, there hasn't been one where the audience liked it too, unlike say Super Mario Bros, which is hated by critics, but loved by audience.

I also said that the Lucasfilm track record since Disney and Kennedy took over has been abysmal. It doesn't matter what it was like beforehand, and mentioning movies that have nothing to do with Disney is a weak argument, especially when your examples are terrible. Willow has an IMDb score of 7.2/10 and Revenge of the Sith a score of 7.6/10 - hardly terrible. I don't like TPM or AOTC, but many do, but both are better than most of Disney Star Wars. Obviously, Howard the Duck is terrible, but every studio has duds.

Lucas led Lucasfilm created a company with several beloved franchises, billions made in merchandising, and a company which Disney paid $4 billion for. Meanwhile the Disney/Kennedy led Lucasfilm has made critical and commercial flops, have seen their audience abandon them in droves, their merchandise rot on shelves (even when heavily discounted) and their starship hotel experience close after a year. The Lucasfilm brand has been significantly diminished since Disney took over.
ok, Rogue One.

Hi there. Just stoping in to say revenge of the sith is pretty much on everyone’s top 5 Star Wars films. Especially during this era. It’s pretty much iconic. Ok I’ll be taking my leave
Maybe for your demographic It was, and still is, considered the best of 3 bad films....by those old enough to see it in a theater when it came out.....

I get nostalgia hits with a certain age group on these films.....it will be no different for the ST you will see......

I cannot believe people are buying HT of Qui Gon, Anakin , Padme or Clone Troopers.....

I want to see the sales on Jar Jar.

I remember people saying episode 3 was good even back then lol

I liked Ep 3 at first -- because even with all the bad acting it was still about something -- the story we had all been waiting for -- I wanted to like it so much. But over time, it started to grate on me. There's still alot more in it that I like than the other two, but ... I find it very hard to sit through anymore.

I really can't sit through ROTJ anymore either though.
