Hmm, why does she not include LED saber arms? Is this the first Jedi figure without light up effects?
If they can't/won't do it for Ashoka hope for that feature with this SW might have been misplaced.

Wow only one year behind schedule. Figure looks really good I think. Seems they made the costume darker and more show-accurate compared to the prototype.

One of the bloggers even had her in a cross-legged floating pose - I'd be curious how challenging that was to achieve.

The only real mark against it is those unsightly shoulder joints without the cape, and she was without the cape more often than not in the show. Really a shame they hadn't been taking this extra year delay to implement silicon shoulders like Ahsoka. It's not just the shoulders either, the far too skinny featureless barbie doll stick arms just aren't good enough for what these cost.

I'm pretty sure the Ahsoka body is jointed at the elbow with a plastic forearm, so they could have done the same with this and still had the electronics for the hands.

Yup, they absolutely could have had both silicone shoulders and electronics in the forearms; the sleeves would hide the transition from silicone to plastic lower arm just like Ahsoka.

That double elbow joint doesn't look compatible. The Ashoka body only has single joint.
Maybe why they didn't give her LED sabers.

In both cases on both figures, the sleeves cover enough of the arm that the silicone could end far enough up to allow for that double-jointed, bicep swivel-style lower arm to attach. They just did a dumb thing on the Ahsoka body and brought the upper arm down all the way to the elbow, plugging in a lower arm using just a little plastic wrist peg that's prone to breaking.

I'm not privy to the reasoning and design decisions but I imagine there's more to it than dumb company being dumb. :huh

I just think it was probably a cost-saving decision - using off-the-shelf existing bodies versus creating a custom-tailored one - as opposed to a design challenge.

Looks like ToysBuyingAgent is doing free 2-3 week shipping on this figure and a few others; in US Currency after promo code that makes her $269 delivered.

Best part of this release is the end of the where's Wanda comments.

Though I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they do the same for MoM Scarlet Witch lmfao.
Where's my MoM Scarlett Witch!? :ROFLMAO:

For real though, this was the oldest figure still stuck in pre-orderville, glad to see her finally release.

Biggest miss is obviously the shoulder seams but the cape looks too nice to not have it on anyway. Still not sure if I want this or the MoM version, I think the sculpt is better on the latter.

I switched my order for the MoM version last Fall because I liked the swappable hair, change-outs for achieving the cross-legged pose and costume that hid any joints, but I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either. This is a stunning release.

I don’t know. I really like the idea of the interchangeable hair options on MoM Wanda, but that WandaVision full cape looks very dramatic and awsome to me. So since I’d just like an updated Wanda for my collection, the context of what show she’s from is less important than the presence in the display consideration. I think this looks amazing!

Yeah it does look great and the wired cape works well. For me, one of my favorite things about this costume is the neck collar but the cape clasps completely obscure it. They could have alternatively tossed in the interchangeable hair for this version too, as the hairpiece that drapes in front of the shoulders would have probably hidden the joints well enough (and been show accurate).

I bet Terry was kicking himself for not having the sleeve up high enough to hide the bicep swivel cut on the right arm in that second pose 😛
