Thanks for all the pics and review @Asta :clap

Are his hands the really hard plastic kind or are they softer kind like most HT hands? I ask b/c my second run 89 Joker from Mars has really hard plastic hands that make it even more difficult to hold the accessories. Hoping that's not the case here

The fingers are easily pliable so it should be easy to put things into his hands.

great thank you! The second run 89 Joker require heating up if I want to try to put the accessories in the hands b/c the material is so hard. I ended up having to buy real HT 89 hands

I always go to CelebHeights when I'm working on scaling figures.

Their results are slightly different:

Adam West 6' 1 1/2”

Cesar Romero 6' 2 3/4”

Frank Gorshin 5' 8”

Burgess Meredith 5' 5 1/2”

I also noted down the equivalents in 1/6 (12.25”, 12.46”, 11.33” and 10.92” respectively), but that's all out the window now since the '66 figures are under scale so far, with the Adam West Batman being the benchmark.

That's going to be fine as they'll all be displayed together.
I haven’t watched in a long while, but I seem to remember Alfred towering over everyone else

I moved him into the next shelf because there's something I've been meaning to try...

(I can't remember whether there's a nozzle under the yellow cap on the repellent. I only just thought about it. Would be uncharacteristic for Batman to commit such a schoolboy error!)

I just opened my King Shark a few hours ago absolutely love him:duff

Never been a fan of 3rd party figures in general because they never lived up to my standards (likeness, paint app, tailoring etc.) but this looks indeed impressive. Might even jump on that second batch if there will be one. The only thing I don't like at all is the name plate on the base: that basic black lettering on plain white background looks just cheap and careless.

I contacted Dino the other day for a tie and he made a proto and sent me pics.

Would there be any interest in one from any here if I order a few to save on shipping?

This figure is soo good it's hard not to be disappointed they didn't do something original with the 89 Joker instead of a straight up recast of the DX08.

That seems extremely nitpicky.

I've had many 3rd party figures over the years, and I would rank SooSooToys and VTS up there with anything Hot Toys has put out. Likeness is hit-and-miss, but that's the case for every company. Can't speak to Mars Toys yet.
