I think this one is more fun.

I made the mistake of ordering through KG instead of Kit because I wanted to pay in full. Gonna be Christmas before I see this.

Got mine today, it looks incredible. Hopefully I’ll have time tomorrow to really check it out and unbox. It took 4 days from China to New York and it takes sideshow 7 days from California. Kit did an amazing packing job and he’s the only seller I would buy these from. Top notch all around.

Ledger Joker is like listening to Enter Sandman, Welcome to the Jungle, Smell Like Teen Spirit, etc. - he is just so played out for me in 1/6 even though he is what got me into 1/6 :lol

So yeah this is easily my FOTY.

Next time, if you prefer to pay in full, you can always put the deposit down and then email Kit that you’d like to pay the remaining balance. I believe he allows you to do that.

Did you pay extra for expedited shipping? Mine was shipped 4 days ago but it hasn’t even landed in LAX yet.

Everything people have been saying is true.

This figure is incredible!:thud:

The sculpts are fantastic, from the tiny sculpting details to the paint and the life in the eyes.

Then the sharply tailored clothing, wealth of finely sculpted hands and all the accessories.

Holding him I'm not quite sure whether I'm awake or still dreaming, because I could swear I was holding a Hot Toys figure. My hopes were high when Hot Toys teased their own '66 Joker, and then dashed as it became clear they were never really going to produce him...

Mars took that tease as their blueprint, and made him even better.

The only thing I thought could be a downside is that he's half an inch too short. He looked like he scaled well with the '66 Riddler, so the Gorshin figure must be extremely short.

However, he does stand taller than the HT Batman, and in fact I think he may be perfectly scaled next to the 6' 1 1/2" Adam West since those figures were made in a time when HT figures were traditionally shorter than they should be. A 12.5" Joker would have been too tall, so Mars made the correct decision.

:yess:

A quick snap to show the scale:

This was a shot in the dark, to pardon the pun, because white painted faces are notoriously difficult to photograph with a flash.

The first attempt:

The second attempt from a few inches further back:

I think it speaks for the quality of the paint that the camera didn't completely erase the details in the face, which usually happens when I hit a Joker figure up close with the flash turned on.

Is anyone not happy enough with the suit colour to dye it more purple/magneta yet?

Wouldn't be hard to do, but the amazing pop this colour has, which ever present in every photograph I've seen on here, means you'd be losing some of that vibrance.

Ah, okay. Cool. I could have also paid the deposit and tucked the money into the savings account. I'm not the brightest sometimes.

I ordered through onesixthkit.com says "processing" but no updates. When I click one the description, it says "product not found"
