Me neither. But I know if/when I do a rewatch, I'm likely skipping the middle. So little happened and it took sooo long. Not necessary to watch it again.

PS...next week's episode is only 30 minutes again.

Oh for crying out loud. I'm so ******* done with these short runtimes. I know a lot of you don't mind the short 30 min episodes, but I'm not going to watch this show on a weekly basis if they're doing this. I'll wait for the whole thing to finish then watch them 2 or 3 at a time.
I don't really care about spoilers for this show either, if I see spoilers whilst I'm waiting for the whole season to be done, so be it.
I know this show can feel like a live action version of Filonis cartoons sometimes but the episodes don't need to have the same runtime.

Wow, the first few eps of Mando S1 are someof the few modern SW releases that I think comes close to the OT. The client, the early stuff with baby yoda, the tease of more mysterious mandos out there. Well written ,well directed, Favreau's full attention.

They certainly derailed in S1 fairly quickly (stuff like the ATST swamp town ep was up there with "Caravan of Courage") but at worst they were "A-Team" eps.

The BOBF comparison for Mando S3 ep1 comes from the inept writing, terrible direction, god-awful "pirate" creatures (kissing cousins to the dumb raider Niktos that kept popping up in BOBF) the stupid stuff of a showdown with Mando and Greef (now turned into a poor man's Lando?) vs the pirates (high tension there!) that mirrors Balda Fatt's tusken broom handle karate taking out a platoon of Disneytroopers in 20 seconds. And god that IG-11 statue made of his own body parts nearly tops BOBF for utter stupidity. I could go on... :lol
My biggest issue with Season 1, 2 and Disney + live action SW in general is it feels made for TV

Andor did not feel that way and this season has not felt that way (at times it has).

Again I would have to watch season 1 but that Blue fish guy took me right out of SW and firmly in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Genndy’s Clone Wars micro series episodes were only 2-12 minutes long each but when joined together became Voltron levels of epic!

I’m not saying that Season 3 will have the same outcome with their narrative once stitched together but if a cartoon can do it so can this lol

Why did Pershing keep pausing ,and touch his ear at certain points?
He lost a piece of that ear when he was taken hostage in the finale if season 2. What's her name shot the guy taking him hostage and clipped his ear.
I guess it's a reminder to him when touches his ear. Whether he's remembering what's her face or that the Imperial was happy to take him hostage and therefore he can't trust the Imperial remnant or something. Or its just a nervous tick.

Some of these seems like nitpicking to me. Never once gave a second thought to the droid parts being used as a statue.. why not? Lol

I agree about bad pirate make up but the shootout was classic western stuff.

I think you're reading waaay too much into the Lone Wolf and Cub connection.

Other than the visuals of the samurai pushing the baby cart, there's nothing in this that actually matched the STORY. It's just a visual homage. Bo-Katan certainly isn't meant to be a stand in for Retsudo or his clan. There's no guarantee the creators have even read the manga or seen the movies other than comic book covers or movie posters.

I totally forgot that.

The first time he touched his beard I thought he'd pull it off revealing it was a fake for some reason or other...

Absurd!

Blasphemy!

Nonsense!

S1 and S2 are epic!

I’m telling Khev lol

The Mandalorian(s).

Watching recent episodes, and thinking the guy who doodled the first Boba Fett sketch had no idea we’d get a whole rainbow brigade of these guys.
Yesterday while I was watching a *shocking* video on HT's life size Grogu$$$ and the pathetic jaw issue -
Some Y-tuber had a mind-boggling collection of Baby Yoda. Had no idea of the *&^% that was produced.
I knew Baby Yoda went global viral but Holy Landfill!:horror

Anyway - since Sideshow keeps having sales, picked up the IS Mando/Speeder. If someone had told me 4 years ago I'd own a Baby Yoda plushie, and a Boba Fett or any more SW I'd have laughed in their face.

Won't be revisiting this season again myself. Maybe cherry picking an episode or two though if it gets any better, just like the Mando chapters from TBOBF

Ep1: meh
Ep2: fairly decent
Ep3: started well, atrocious middle, end was fine, just setting up the next episode I guess

Only 3 episodes in so far so we'll have to see what the rest of the season has to offer but if I ever rewatch this season, I'll be skipping the first 3 episodes.

Far, far stupider to me than the idea of a statue made of the actual corpse....is the fact that there was even a corpse at all.

WE SAW IT BLOW INTO ATOMS!!!

Oh...I forgot. "Somehow Palpatine returned."

Nobody's ACTUALLY dead in SW except Han, Luke, and Leia.
