Sideshow does tailoring well, but falls down elsewhere.

The video highlights how cheap the guns look, and the reviewer even described the sculpt as "cartoonish".

Still no definitive word whether this figure is actually sixth scale out of the box.

I'm not sold on this figure, but am holding out hope for Josey Wales since that's my favourite Eastwood western. Forrest Carter's original novel, and his sequel that came out in the year of the film, were also very good reads.

If only another company had got this license... (as long it wasn't Star Ace :monkey1).

Better still, without a license LiM Toys would blow this line into the long grass.
Reckon so.

Reckon so my friend, waiting for The Outlaw Josey Wales.
You can never have too many Joseys 🤠

Guys, as they say” I really don’t have a horse in the race” anymore but if you ask me or someone who has paid $$$$$ for the custom version of Blondie what I think , i would say don’t wait and get the SS Blondie ASAP. The head which was one of the concerns by many is actually pretty damn nice. It is not “ cartoonish “ in any way other than i think it is a few MM small. The clothing, the poncho at this price point is also really a no brainer! I have one of my custom Eastwood Blondie which was significantly more next to SS Blondie to give you a better perspective of the paint job. Again, paint is actually not too bad!

The SS Body I agree is very dated and does not do the figure justice.

Love that Trevor Grove hatless head sculpt, wish I could lay my hands on one. The Sideshow hat is far superior to the Iminime version.

Guys,

Here is a fresh out the box SS Blondie and my review:

+ The clothing rivals my custom clothing. The poncho folds and drapes as well if not better than my custom $$$$$ set. The vest, shirt, pants are all of high quality and you can feel the quality and time SS put into the set. The belt and scarf are also of high detail quality. The only area I would knock points off is the poncho has 2 different colors ( brown on one side and green on the other side) 9/10
Very great review @ymba :clap

In regards to the poncho - in the behind the scenes video, I believe SS mentioned that Clint showed them the real poncho and it was actually green/olive but was so faded on the top side that it looks brown, so that's why they did the poncho that way.

Won't say too much but this definitely is an improvement over the KO. Happy to report the height is perfect. Same height as the Coomodel 27. The silhouette is definitely better. The quality of the clothes is better along with the fit. I thought I was going to hate the boots, but they are great. For being plastic they really capture the look. The cigarette scares me. Afraid I might break it. The KO's cigarette comes off, so only fear is losing it. Not completely in love with the sculpt, but I don't hate it. Again, with the right light and angle it works. If you start to nit-pick individual aspects you'll find flaws, but if you take in the figure as a whole it captures the character well. It's a good purchase.

Is that a picture from a Show or Con? Is SS planning a deluxe w/ horse? That would be amazing. Even has the Walker Colt properly places in a horse holster. Wow!

I doubt the Civil War flag would make it past the PC Police.
The pic is from my collection. Josey is from a limited run by Scott Pettersen and the horse is a custom order from Luis M Aguilar who does amazing work. Leather saddle is also a custom order.
