Has anyone here had any of the following issues on their Sephiroth :
Cracking or deteriorating of the leather
Yellowing on the ends of the hair
Or the zipper decals coming off ?

Really wanting to buy one again so just curious how it’s holding up since we’re almost a year now from him being out.

I’ve had mine for a while (and I live in the swamplands of Texas)

The cost seems great so far, no issues other than it refuses to become flat. The hair has stayed the same color too.

Or the "Death" of this thread. 💀

I live somewhere that’s hot and way too humid imo. No issues of any of those kinds, just yeah as someone else said the wire in the bottom front of the coat can be hard to straighten out in shapes like this | | or like this / \. It tends to favor billowing looks.

I'm in the southeastern US, not really insanely humid but decent enough for half the year. Haven't had any issues with the figure at all. Honestly it feels like one of my more robust figures out of the 30 that I own. The leather I am even less concerned with flaking compared to 90% of companies, it has a lot more hardy feel to it versus the thin material from companies like Hot Toys. Will it eventually flake? Maybe? It's hard to tell. I don't have him in a case, due to his massive wing. But I don't worry about issues with figures until they arise, I'm here for a good time not a long time... Figures are bought because I want them.

Because honestly, the build quality is there, it's why the company has blown up and the demand is so high.

Also, just from an aesthetic, his presence with the wing is always eye catching to everyone who sees my setup.

The flaring of the coat along the legs is the same for mine. What everyone is alluding to is that if you want him in a static standing pose, it's hard to maneuver the wire to get it very straight and flat. But in a floating pose where the coat looks like it's 'in motion' with like wind or something it looks perfect.

Thanks for the input I owned one and it was my first 1/6 figure and I reposed him a lot so the wire and the zipper decals started falling apart but I’ve been considering getting one again and just straightening the coat wire and leaving him at my desk. Cloud is out of my reach I have a Zack but will probably sell him since I still am not too fond of the face at least the eyes throw it off for me so been considering just Seph as a middle ground to at least have something

One of the bangs on one of my headsculpts exhibits very slight yellowing, and this was on release. I feel it's going to be quite random, but do avoid direct sunlight, probably.

I’m wondering if there’s a way to just color that in to blend the rest of the plastic

Are the bikes really big? 🤭🤭 I haven't really seen any of them with my own eyes.. My Remake Cloud + Daytona still otw shipping from China to my country.

Hope I have enough room for both Daytona & upcoming Fenrir 😆

Oh my... 25% bigger than pak version, that's really big 😱
Yes- I would go ahead and say it's pretty big at least based off of the hardy.

AFAIK the lowest risk to highest reward method would be to color match by blending acrylic paints.

Just thin it out (I use flow-aid but I’ve heard water also works), so you can sponge it on in very thin layers using a makeup sponge to build up the color and blend it in. If any of it goes somewhere it shouldn’t on the head, just lightly wiping with a clean sponge and some lightly soapy water will take it right off. Depending on where it is you may not even have to seal it, and if you wanted to for finish reasons some watered down mod podge should be equally as harmless to the plastic and comes in a bunch of finishes.
