The color pallet looks more or less perfect across the board here. I’m even more excited now.

The eye paint details don’t appear to be best in the business but they seem adequate and much better than the posable eyes on the GtG. The rooted hair looks great and more than makes up for “adequate” paint.

Yeah, that looks amazing. The difference between v1 and v2 is startling! Glad I had the foresight to sell the original a few months ago while it was still worth something 😅

Seeing this makes me quite sad with the way GTG was treated. Wonder if they'll ever use this sculpt and just give it a new rooted grey hair job for a v2 head for GTG.

Tell me about it. This is extremely life like. The wrinkles, skin texture, eyes. It's a bummer they just couldn't have done with with GTG.

Yeah it's very frustrating as I'd say the actual likeness of the GTG sculpt is very good but sadly let down by the eyes and the flat paint. I've got InArt's version on order but I definitely want to keep the Asmus version in the hope that the (long) forthcoming replacement heads will come with better eyes and paint!

I've been out of the Asmus thread for a while now, but damn this looks great. Rooted hair, beard & moustache & a horse all for 380 is good value for the current market. If this was a Weta piece it would be a grand.
Hope Saruman & Radagast (unlikely) get such good treatment. I'd love to have all the Istari in 1/6th figure format

Site is accessible, however its out of Stock.
This is why I have always preferred preorders, it is a way to ensure that you will have a copy of what you want without having to hunt and capture when it will be back in stock, where it can be bought or if it will be available again. . It's an expensive hobby, if it also becomes difficult, I don't see much point in it as a hobby.
