I actually haven't found MCU this entertaining since Endgame.

I haven’t gone to a midnight screening for any of this phase’s movies. And I went to em all up to Endgame. Press screening for Winter Soldier

That doesn’t work when you set up a large interconnected cinematic universe though.

This serves no purpose.

Not everything needs to be intimately connected. One of the best things about Moon Knight was how stand-alone it was.

The comics often do their own thing in their own bubble, and then pull everyone in for an event crisis. She-Hulk in the comics spends most of her time doing law and focusing on her own interests.

It's just another product and if I'm honest it's a bit cringe.

To each their own. I find the humour middle of the road entertaining and it seems to come more naturally to this show than some of the other MCU stuff.

I have my giant green female lawyer show involving bad dates, demon infestations, an Abomination cult, snarky costume designers, master of the mystic arts drinking buddies, and space Hulk thus far. That’s what I asked for and expected. Just need more Frog-Man in my life.

I’m predicting they are going to go all in on classic DD and anyone who can’t disassociate from the Netflix show are going to absolutely hate it.

"Just Jen" was another funny episode as far as I'm concerned.

I loved the wedding shenanigans and the divorce mediation.

And it was truthful. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to weddings where there was a power struggle between the bride and the bridesmaid.

If they weren't the same characters they would have recast them, using these actors comes with certain expectations.

If I recall correctly, Charlie said Feige did not see Born Again to be a continuation of Netflix' series. So I'd probably look at this Kingpin and Matthew Murdock as variants rather than the same people from Netflix.

That’s not the same Daredevil though.

And they can be light and funnier at times but I have a feeling their going to turn him into a total goofball as they always do lately.

I also fully expect him to have unlimited stamina, never get bruised or bloodied and to knock people out with a single hit as if he’s superhuman now.

Yeah you can look back in almost any characters comic book history and find a spectrum of personalities and abilities due to whoever happened to writing the character at the time.

Casting the same actors to throw a middle finger to your audience with a complete different take is not the way to go.

I'm not expecting skull smashing kingpin or existential crisis Matt Murdock, but im hoping they don't turn them into complete jokes.
