THE BATMAN BAT-SIGNAL

The Batman-Bat Signal is made according to the Settings in the movie, including the light, the opening and closing of the foldout, and the rotation and playability of the lamp barrel. Fine rain washing mixed with the soil color, the old deformation treatment of the fold, and the depiction of mechanical engineering details make the Batman Bat-Signal more authentic, The Batman & Bruce Wayne Deluxe Edition includes this signal, but you can also buy it separately.

The size of the Bat-Signal is 270MM (H) x 230MM (W) x 310MM (D). In Inches, the size is estimated to be 10.6 (H) x 9 (W) 12 (D). The materials include ABS, Diecast Metal and Acrylic.

The Batman Bat Signal

The bat signal will be collecting dust doing absolutely nothing on your shelves within a year and you know it.
I mean, what else is it supposed to do BUT collect dust doing absolutely nothing on shelves. Its a prop....
Maybe you can turn it 90degrees if you want a new look.

I’m not even gonna buy the figure anymore. Just the Batsignal. And then I’m gonna kitbash the Drophead thug from the beginning of the movie peering into a diorama of a rain drenched, shadowy alleyway and I’ll have the best/most accurate depiction of Batman from the entire movie.

I'm not sure I even understand how the Batsignal is supposed to work -- does it call Batman; is he supposed to come to the light? Does it mean there is crime somewhere and Batman should be looking (which would be very vague)? Is it like The Batman said -- a warning -- that Batman is out there, at work, beating people up... you better watch out, you better not crime? That makes more sense, but its very authoritarian -- putting your symbol in the sky to scare people.

They should include a door for Batman to stand outside and wait patiently for it to be answered.

Definitely a warning, as shown in The Batman.

Though it's also been used to summon Batman to GCPD so he can speak with the commissioner about a big case.

At this point, I think it's more a callback since it was conceived before modern technology allowed so many means of easy and instant communication.

Not sure I’d say use of the Batsignal is entirely authoritarian as it serves a duel purpose; firstly as a deterrent and intimidation tactic, reminding the criminal element of Gotham that there are severe consequences to illegal activities and, secondly, it offers hope and a degree of comfort to regular civilians that they are being watched over and protected and that they are less likely to be targeted due to the threat of recourse from The Batman.

I don’t consider it to be an attack on peoples’ freedom as our own societal standards and longstanding laws also enforce adherence and denounce and punish all the same violations as Batman- just less brutally.
The people of Gotham are free to live however they wish only with one additional reason to not break the law.

So instead I’d consider the Batsignal a reinforcement of ethical values and a symbol of protection against objective wrongdoings.

to add to that - isn't the practical use of the Batsignal meant as a way for Gordon to "call" and meet with Batman with news/info on particular crimes or villains since he can't simply call Batman on a phone like the Adam West days? It tends to mean Gordon has something important to discuss with Batman.

Sucks how it doesn’t fit inside the detolf, most likely it will stay on top, away from the figure. It would look so cool with Batman together. I’ll just wait until I have more space for him and the signal.

Quite frustrated that hot toys or inart are not using better business tactics towards making Zoe’s catwoman. It will literally sell like crazy if they nail the headsculpt. Like come on hot toys another iron man figure???

Pairing inart Batman and catwoman with the batsignal would loook SOO GOOD.

Or even making commissioner Gordon at least, he was so essential in the film. The film was too good to pass on just one figure.

Looking at those dimensions it should fit in quite comfortably. I plan to put it top shelf.
