I really don't think INART much cares about Hot Toys, just the same way I don't think HT really care the same way people think they are fearing INART. Hot Toys has the casual market that has seeped into high-end collectibles, and they do a fine job.

INART is the answer to the question of can there be better? And it's the hardcore collectors who will jump ship and pay more money to get better. Anyone who thinks Hot Toys is doomed or sweating because of INART are incredibly wrong. HT has the stranglehold on the market and the market that will be the biggest for a long time.

It's nice that HT's are being a bit more transparent, but I doubt they're fearful. It's weird seeing people really jump on one or the other. HT is fine for what it is. You don't have to disparage one to feel comfortable in making your choices.

Anyway, we all know JND is best.

:)
I am not privy to any insider information, but I've heard stories from a few people in the business who say HT uses very aggressive tactics to destroy competition... I think they are very aware of what other companies are doing.

Hot Toys don't really care. Even for the TW thing, I'm pretty sure the pressure was from Sideshow telling them to put out a statement to help out.

At the end of the day Hot Toys is an established brand where they will get the PO money/profit regardless of which if it comes from their loyal fans/consumers and or the numerous resellers in HK/China. Like the other person mentioned, they have a stranglehold on the 1/6 market. No one is catching up to them anytime soon

I'm not in the market for this, but wow, this looks amazing in every single picture.
Like others have said, I think it's really the body proportions that push this from looking like a toy to looking like a man in a suit. "Simple" things like being able to put the arms close to the body and having proper neck/traps/shoulder proportions really elevate this figure.
If I was in the market for a Pattinson Batman, my pre-order for the regular set would already be locked in.

Yep, Batman reading the card was my favorite pose in that video.

I'm being indecisive myself... The Batman or The Deluxe?

I kind of want to put the rooted Batman head with smeared eye make-up on the Bruce Wayne, just to make people go nuts. Emo-Wayne.
I liked that pose as well. Simple but effective and conveyed the vibe of the movie pretty well.

I know it wouldn't be scene accurate, but seeing as how the premium Batman came with an extra accessory, it would've been cool to include his sunglasses for the premium Bruce Wayne.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.

What’s the extra accessory? I still think it’s criminal that neither HT nor InArt have included a flare with a ridiculously bright red LED. I mean, you have all these cool as hell, atmospheric red filtered shots and you don’t give people the one accessory that could naturally help recreate it?

I was thinking the same bro

Yep yep yep...For once I might not have to spend extra money booking commissions to get my figure to look right. That alone makes me excited and hope it becomes somewhat of a wake up call in that department for Hot Toys.

As I said, I'm not privy to insider information, but as you point out, they have a stranglehold on the 1/6 market... meaning exactly that: they use every possible tactic to block, impede or disuade other companies from being able to compete with them.

Premium Batman comes with the portable laptop, standard doesn't.

Not necessarily...It's simply means they have been in the game for the longest and have established a certain trust and loyalty between their product and their consumers. The quality of their work and their reputation speaks for itself, people can bank on their portfolio of work and simply base on that to spend their money. That's what I meant when I say they have a stranglehold on the market.

But, going back to the dollie, it does look quite magnificent!
I will be in serious trouble if and when they do the BvS Trinity... as much as I love my HT figures, it's always been clear to me that they need some work...

One observation though, does anybody else think the boots look like kinda cheap? I have a feeling those are hard plastic and probably not the final item.

Ah, no... I meant they have a stranglehold on the market meaning top factories, talent, etc. But, as we've seen, other companies are finding ways to improve their product and output, so we're all in for a treat.

This is pretty much me at the moment talking with my sensible friend about whether to order the "All In" set or not......

Join us in the "All In Deluxe" side. :stick

Made a compilation image of the figure and all that's included. Enjoy! Like all of their previous announcements, with how good the figure looks, you can't help but be hyped by it.

So the Deluxe comes with the rooted haired head AND the plastic haired head?

And two sets of all the cards?

And the Joker's handcuffs? :lol

Also, I wonder what the "rooted head display box" is that is included?
