The giveaway is the Mando versions did not close fully and left a gap.

Protos are just that. End of the day its lazy using the wrong lid.

As others have stated; it was always the Mando mold reused, from proto onwards.

A lot of people, myself included, were just hoping HT didn’t cheap out on the production. But alas, lazy HT as standard these days.

If the only difference is the gap I can chalk it up to a wardrobe malfunction which is not surprising that it translated into this mandalorian figure because the mandalorian is full of these wardrobe malfunction discrepincies with troopers and tusken raiders etc..

One thing I can appreciate (and I shouldnt have to in the first place) is that hot toys at least included a regular stand for the figure in the speeder pack because knowing hot toys they usually say NOPE lets take the stand out since we are including the speeder!

Anyone know when those 10% off stickers that have been put on shipper boxes expire? I’m planning to use mine on this when it’s eventually in stock. No need to preorder. Look how long The Mandalorian version has been sitting there.

Well that's just dumb. Thanks for nothing HT - I really wanted this one, but that's a glaring issue to me.

I guess technically one could Stanley knife the ‘opening’ and heat remold and glue shut. But it would warp the helmet all over the place I would imagine.

I already have the Mando Scout Trooper so I don't see me getting this set but man do I want that sniper rifle!
