Gundamit/ShowZ themselves are definitely legit but they put up prospective pre-orders quite regularly. There's pre-orders for stuff on there from more than a year ago that the manufacturers presumably no longer have any intent on actually making.

PAK is premium price for a budget figure, they saw the aftermarket was insane and thought they could sell at that price. Thing is quality is slipping and you can just buy a factory "knockoff" on ebay for nothing half the time.

As an old PAK collector, I gotta say, she honestly looks pretty good. The headsculpts aren't perfect, but an improvement from the original PAK Aerith for sure. We are certainly spoiled with GT's accuracy; I just hope that someday we get GT versions of the wall street attire as well.

As an old PAK collector, I gotta say, she honestly looks pretty good. The headsculpts aren't perfect, but an improvement from the original PAK Aerith for sure. Agree, its a huge improvement from before and I think the PAK figures look totally ok now, not super fantastic but not in in the least drop dead awful.
I actually do still collect the PAK Remake line, for one because I begun before I knew GT existed.
And the reason I will keep at it even tho GT knock them out of the park by a landslide is because with PAK its pretty much safe to asume they will release "all" figures and I will be able to have my full party of the main FFVII crew one day (wich as a collector I really do want a full set). With GT theres no guarantee they will ever make the whole main crew, maybe they will, maybe they wont. If I knew they would I would stop collect PAK right here and now, but to be fair I dont think GT actually will. I hope, but its more likely they will keep to the most popular characters and not make the rest.

Looks really great! I think unfortunately it's a bit underscaled. Almost looks like it's for a PAK size figure. But if you put it next to your GT figures I don't think it'll be majorly noticeable.

The articulation joints ruin the look of the figure. I would go with their statue instead of the PAK if I wanted the girls in their dresses.

It's kind of a sad testament to Square that the only officially licensed FF7 figures, that are probably about double the price they should be, are [at best] described as "Fine" and "Okay". And then you have 3rd parties putting in the work and actually wow-ing their customer base.

It's like Walter said about the boss of GT. If you do it for the love of the character, you get a better product than corporate money greed. After the terrible PAK Tifa release, I lost all respect for them. Which is sad, because some of their releases were really solid. The original AC Cloud and Sephiroth figures were pretty great for the time.

Haha we are all so spoiled with seamless bodies and statues that PAKs joints are just unsightly now that being said, can't wait to see more of GT Aerith!!! Still wonder if she will come with crisis core head + dress or ff7r wall street dress+head

The 7R PAK line started really strongly but ended up with more misses than hits I feel, which is a shame since it'll likely end up being the most cost-effective way to have fully articulated representations of the entire party.

I had all of the core party members including Red from 7R, and whilst it was cool for about a month being able to partially realise something I've wanted on my shelves for a very long time, eventually I just couldn't overlook the faults that most of the figures had. I've since sold them and will probably only end up having GT AC Cloud, AC Sephiroth if they do him and maybe Aeris as the figures in my FF7 display. Quality and craftsmanship over quantity.

I actually really like my "statuettes" that they released... wish they'd done the full cast. They're exactly what I wanted for $40-$50 a piece.

That Aerith PAK looks decent to me -- the joints are absolutely awful, but from a sculpt perspective I think it's pretty good. I don't collect figures like this because I hate the joints, but this gives me hope for the statue versions that are coming... I have ordered both. Agree that they're priced over double what they should be... but options are slim.

Though if GT comes in at a good price, I could see myself selling off the Static Arts... we'll see. I definitely prefer the sculpted clothing and hair and such. Just don't feel like I need both.
