At least we got the guy he eats lol. I mean I can't really be mad at NECA at all. They had the deal done and then his estate pulled back. I've never seen a mass retail release figure get pulled like that.

Yup, I've never seen anything like that. It got so far as to go up for order and then had to be stopped along the way.

I'll have to get Hooper now. Quint can't be on his own and I won't have room for the shark. They'll just have to do a standing version of the cup vs can scene.

I haven't purchased anything and won't until I see Bruce, what's the point of having Quint and Hooper if you can't have Bruce choping on one of them? The Scheider estate pulling out really put a damper on this line, funny considering we were all angry at Dreyfuss for not wanting to sell his likeness at the time Quint and Brody were announced.

Yeah, I know. Was so weird when Dreyfuss said OK, then Scheider pulls out.

They have no excuse not to make Bruce... except that sales may be terrible so they dropped the expensive shark. Hope they figure out something.

Well, we're due that Chief version at least. And certainly everyone can visualize an Orca version in that NECA style.

Then we're short an alternate Quint. Maybe either that gray turtleneck "you got city hands" look OR maybe the black sweater from his nail-scratching intro?

How about a "bitten in half below the waist" Quint... to pair with a Bruce bust?

Weird that Brody would be announced and put up for pre-order and then cancelled. I assume NECA would have gotten permission from Scheider’s estate before making it. I wonder why they would revert on giving out the rights.
