I like the Incinerator Trooper. It's quite a striking colour scheme on display, and the colours make sense: red = hot = danger.

The yellow for the Artillery Trooper didn't make that kind of innate sense, and neither did the idea of the mortar itself.

As for the use of colours themselves, it makes sense visually so commanders can spot the positions of their unique troop types in a combat situation.
red = hot = danger.

yellow = mustard = hot dog

I wonder what they will call the eventual green one. Maybe Sniper trooper.

Sideshow had their first look up. Gotta say, their lighting and camerawork have gotten dramatically better when at the same time Justin’s has gotten dark and muddy as of late.

Just looking at the yellow and red troopers standing side by side, they look so ridiculous. The location of the coloring just makes them look like some cosplayer that wanted to try something odd. Disney...:slap:slap:slap

Robert Rodriguez is clearly colour blind.

It was his episode for this mustard trooper, also the Mobility Scooter New Romantics episode....there's a parallel there I'm sure !

Not sure who is calling the shots on these SW D+ shows. Clearly they are recycling uniforms when they can, but some of the trooper variants are clearly devoid of creativity. At least some of the aliens like Kristofferson look pretty cool.

Similar to the ST as well, where the costume design and looks of the characters in general, were just lacking, with a few exceptions.

I’ve just ordered from toys wonderland. Couldn’t resist as I have the Coruscant guard coming soon too. That’s another detolf shelf taken.
