That’s what they told me. I messaged them asking can I just out on a waitlist if one gets sent back that I can just get the cape from that. I can’t believe how bad TZ ****** up on this release.Partial refund or return.
Original Guts had issues not this wide spread.
TZ never responded when I again asked for a cape. The balls to tell me to sew it and “hope I understand.”
I am also disappointed to see so many people suffer the same fate as I did with the wrist joint. At least, while I know it doesn't sound better to hear, the problem only lies in the cape with yours Snake. But I literally can't pose Guts right now since his arm is missing. :| I own the first release of the Berserker Armor and it's awesome, no problems to this day and I repose him every month, swap hands etc.
At the very least, since the wrist joints that the Berseker armor uses are unique, they could have added a pair as backup... I own 80+ wrist joints from all the figures I've collected yet none of them are compatible with the Berserker armor.

I gave the body a once over and it seems fine enough. Asymmetrical joint tightness in the arms but I can ignore that. All the armor plates are there. His left forearm did pop off but I was able to snap it back in place and it's good.
I hope I hear back today. I'm not being unreasonable in my request. I mean they're going to just send these back to TZ anyway, why not use what they can out of them?
I was able to get the human head of Guts on the body of the regular version. I did paint scuff the bottom of the neck but it's underneath the collar of the chest so it's not a big deal and they gave it a dirty paintjob anyway. I wish they went with a tougher finish or different resin or whatever they used to the head since the original Guts head was way resilient to handle.
I recommend heating the upper armor around the neck and make the opening wider to avoide the scuffs

Got the same response. Returning isn’t an option for me because A. I paid customs fee’s I will never get back, and B. I love the figure.
Whilst I wait to hear back on the new joint and see if they get one from somewhere, I’ve done some surgery. Think the issue seems to be the pressure from the spring underneath the cuff, so I’ve removed that, and run a small piece of metal wire through the broken peg and into the joint, and used a small amount of superglue on the side that ‘moves’ to ensure that I don’t lose movement. It works for now but would still prefer a joint replacement!

I understand, I paid 130€ import fees as well, which I won't get back so there's no way in hell I'm returning it, plus this is quite possibly my favorite figure out of the ones I own at this moment. This one's a keeper.
Nice work on that wrist joint, I am trying to muster the courage to do something like that on mine too. I was told Sideshow was going to send me a wrist joint replacement but I have no idea.. how long this might take..

Threezero is going to replace my cape.
I doubt Threezero will deny replacing the wrist joints as the OG Berserker armor has the same joints. It'd be insane on their part.
That's good news Snake, did they inform you about a tracking number or how long it might take for you to receive it?

No tracking number, they wanted my address, name and phone number but they assigned me a case number. They said 4 weeks for transit because of Chinese New Year, but idc about the wait time as long as it's good.

I was going to message them again this morning but they did it first. At least I don't need to play hot potato with SSC anymore. I guess I'll get a $40 giftcard I'll never use.
