There were so many things wrong than just venom in sm3

raimi should have done venom as the main plan. Fans were begging for it. They teased it. It was what people were waiting for. Nobody wanted freaking vulture. You don’t go from doc ock to freakin vulture. And sandman? I love sandman but eh. Fans wanted venom and he should have known this and made a story from it. The demand was huge back then.

the sad villains was getting so tired and annoying. Like come on. We get it they are villains cause something bad happened to them. Sm3 needed a bad guy that’s just bad.

the goblin plot line would have been a mess even if raimi got his way and put vulture in. How would Harry play into it? He got the goblin formula at the end of sm2 so how would sm3 continue his story if we already had vulture and sandman .

the goblin suit is probably the stupidest thing ever. You really couldn’t do hobgoblin? The damn mask was right there!

the emo Parker stuff was over the top. Very goofy. The black suit is like the one ring. It’s something you feel you must have and you grow possessive of it. It changes your mood to more aggressive and violent . In turn it feeds off your emotions

Mary Jane is just annoying. They made her so needy and it’s irritating .
The music was a step down and some stuff was cringe like the crowd gathering to see Spider-Man fight and the news covering it. It was so cheesy. Not in a good way.

Tobey cried way to much. Like that bridge scene was hard to look at. I remember people back then use to think Spider-Man cried because of him.

it was just a mess tbh. I think the studio knew vulture would suck so they wanted venom and raimi had no idea how to write a story with the black suit because for whatever reason he hated the character. Very odd to me since he’s a horror director and venom is horror and the kinda **** he likes to film lol. 😂

Speaking of Mary Jane, this girl reminded me of her:

Well... until she turned into a Pixar character and then to Chucky as well. :lol

Spider-Man 2 is still amazing, I watched it the other night and really enjoyed it. The third one was severely flawed but it was fun to watch for the lolz.

Mary Jane was annoying and needy but Holland’s MJ is a sourpuss. I prefer Dunst, personally.

That's what the ladies are like when I take them back to my place

You live in an amusement park like the Joker?

Do you show naked pictures of those girls to their dads?

The Raimi trilogy played out just like the Nolan trilogy.

What's wrong with TDKR?
I think it started off bad when Marion lied that Miranda Tate wasn't Tali al Ghul. Reminds me of the Khan ploy in Trek Intro Darkness, people seen through both of those. Many have stated the Bane voice was too odd for them. John Blake is Robin but not Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, etc. The ending wasn't very Batman - "Here's this cave, figure it out." Bruce always looks after Gotham. It was more of a disaster film than a Batman film.

I thought the premise was bad - super smart Bruce Wayne makes a clean energy device that could be turned into a nuke. Then he just sits on it, not flooding it. Not very decisive when he is very decisive in every instance. There are plenty of nukes out there, might as well make use of one that produces clean energy.

Doesn't mean the film is totally bad, like Spider-Man 3. It felt out of place and not really serving the main character, Batman/Bruce Wayne. Venom/Emo Parker ruined SM3. I think both creatively ran out of juice and tried to do something different, which was out of place for the franchise.

So, it's cool to hate on End Game now, huh? Thar didn't take long.

I think IW and EG are about even. Both have an equal number of memorable moments.

IW is more rewatchable for several reasons, but EG has the most epic moment I've seen in a theater, when the portals open and both sides are about to go to war. I had big dumb smile on my face and nothing in the MCU or any other franchise will top that for me for a long time.

EG and ROTJ have nothing in common, other than having the good guys win. Cap's dance at the end was such a perfect ending too.
I love Endgame because of those epic moments. Cap wielding Mjolnir, Tony's snap are all epic along with the portals. It's probably more fun than Infinity War but Infinity War is just a perfect movie of tension, loss, comedic relief, heroism, etc. Much like Empire in that way. Loving Infinity War doesn't mean hating Endgame...at least not to me.

People's love for EG always lists moments from the last 40 minutes -- which of course was the best part of the movie, yes. But you had to slog thru the first 2 hours.

Infinity War has no slogging. People point out great moments from the beginning, middle and end. That's the best clue its a great movie.

It was a **** film. Absolutely hated what they did to Robin. The movie tried to be way to realistic. It just fell flat.
