Wow, can't wait for the final photos. Definite buy considering Bilbo (Ian) was such an integral part of the film series. Love that diorama piece!😍

Asmus just tweeted this image ...

Seems like a reveal might be imminent ...

I don't recall Asmus ever confirming the diorama will be part of the figure/for sale. Maybe it will be used only for promo pictures? I think it is too big to be shipped but maybe I am wrong.
No offence, but I really do hope your wrong. That Bag End piece will be the cherry on the top! I`m praying like mad! :pray::pray:

Not to rain on any parades but let's remember, Balin's tomb was supposed to cost around 300 bucks if I remember correctly.
*shrug* IMO a reasonable price for a complex diorama (the Door to Haberdashery is around 200) plus a detailed figure.

It's not like I am rich but if I had to budget time and materials to make a Bag End, it's a cost savings. Especially the labor.

Anyway Hot Toys is pretty well breaking the 300 mark, now.

If the Bag End diorama ends up going into production, I'm betting it will run at least $400 (not including the figure). Looks to be pretty big and will require a lot of detailed casting and paint work. I really, really hope it will be less, but polystone prices have probably tripled in the last decade or so ...
