Well I used some RPs and ordered. Kept thinking this piece is gonna work well with my CW 1/4s, like the pose and base, she's sexy and beautiful, and I like flowy hair. Plus her entry into the MCU was great. D*mn wish IS would revisit TWS, but in the meantime looking forward to her.

Worst case I'd cancel tho eating that RD would hurt. It'd have to be for a really special Widow tho. Also this one is gonna blend well in style (same company) with existing pieces I own.

Thought about that...assuming the second would be the TWS look, since the Gentle Giant 1/4 goes for crazy prices. Not sure I could pass up anything from TWS - my fav MCU film along with CW. But then I'd be looking for a Cap and WS too.....
I really like this piece tho and the base details. She just seems like she'll fit so well with my other IS statues. I can already see her on the shelf.

There's a few videos on YouTube now, I think the face likeness is the best yet but I have a few reservations such as with the hair, base and shape of legs.

Very happy with what I'm seeing; IMO she's a head shorter than Cap in the films, more or less - works for me. Looks like a beautiful piece.

Dang it! I ordered the Queen Studios black suit and thought I had safely dodged the urge to get this version. The video reviews I've seen have me seriously tempted! She looks pretty phenomenal and now I'm playing that game in my head where I try to justify the logic of having two widows. I think the members of this board already know which side usually wins that argument!

Update: I had a couple of Gin and Tonics and decided to order her. She'll be here next week! Not going to lie, I pretty much drank so I'd have a plausible excuse for ordering... I mean, the Queen Studios won't be here for a year so why go that long without an awesome Black Widow statue? Come on folks, help me feel better about this decision!

IMO no excuse needed, this is a definitive release when this iconic character enters the MCU, looks like a fantastic sculpt and interesting base that isn't overcluttered, and if you already own IS pieces she will blend well. Looks gorgeous. Also, IS never does huge releases and the 1/4 re-sell prices are insane if u look at the 'bay.
And as nice as the other BW is - well, TBH dealing with silicon? over time seems like a pain in the *ss. I'd have gone for the other BW if it were a TWS look, but I'm glad I didn't feel I had to.
(And for me, I want free-flowing hair on my BWs, never liked the tied up hair on her).
