I hope the Hawkeye series is good. Trailer was decent and interesting. I was looking forward to Falcon and WInter Soldier but overall it was flat to me. Characters were shadows of themselves and Walker Captain Aerica story was too rushed for me. I always liked that storyline in the comics and was disappointed how they handled it in the show. Ultimatum could have been handled better as well. They started out fine but lost their balls on the ending. Wandavision and Loki were both entertaining to me but watching once was enough.

I'm OK with the goofball on this since the storyline that it seems to be based on is kind of a goofball one.
Yeah, tho it kinda kills me that this looks better than TWS - the whole dynamic. Anyway TWS tried for seriousness and except for the first episode and a few moments here and there, we got woke Tumblr dribble:stake...look, not everyone can be the Russos or Favreau even.

This looks like it's nailing the world-weary Hawkeye vibe - anyway I liked his interaction with Wanda way back too. Something great to watch with the leftover turkey sandwiches. :lol

Tho with all the shipping mess and some shortages, somehow it would be fitting to watch this show over a turkey molded from Spam.:chug

What is Echo Daredevil now? Dammit.

I will now watch your show. They got Lalo playing Swordsman and Mommy Vera. I don't even care for Fraction's Hawkguy, but Renner's a likeable everyman, Steinfield's got an ass, and now they got these two in it, plus it's Christmas themed so... my excitement went up several notches, I'll tell you that.

I guess Echo's dad is/was a criminal in the comics and maybe Hawkeye took him out. Could have the track suit bros, Yelena and Echo all gunning for him.

I did not know she is both deaf and an amputee. That would be interesting to see how they incorporate that into the character. IIRC right, this character was Ronin at one point?

So she is linked to Fisk/DD/Hawkeye/Avengers. She gave Ronin to Hawkeye, so maybe they swap it the other way and the criminals go after her in the end. This could be an in with Fisk/DD and maybe even She Hulk as she defends superheroes.

Thanks! I have a very basic knowledge of this character (only that it was related to DD and Fisk and was also Ronin). Looks like everything is linking up nicely on the D+ MCU front.

So far on the movie side, Shang Chi was a miss for me and I haven't been hearing good things about Eternals either.

Neither did anything for me. Have no urge to buy the 4k nor any figure made from them. No Way Home might determine what I get in the future if Hot Toys milks it dry.

The way Renner's Hawkeye draws his bow always bugged me. It always seems like his elbow is jutting out uncomfortably. At first I thought they corrected that with Hailee but that does not seem to be the case here too.

I've had a few archery lessons back in my Boy Scouting years and I was taught to keep my elbow more in line with the arrow while drawing to give more power and stability to the draw. I'm not saying I'm good at archery (I'm worse than a beginner) but that elbow stuck out so much to me because it was one of the first things my instructor corrected with me at the time.

Stephen Amell has much better form in Arrow IMO.

Lol nah, plenty of world class archers draw elbow high just like that.

Not mention once you hit a certain skill level, you can break basic form to however you wish. His talent is accuracy regardless, he could shoot it backwards up side down and achieve the same result.
