Under the right light, this looks like a mini huma.... uhh... monster...

I also grabbed the B&W version but haven't opened him yet. Looks just as good if not better than the color.

Hopefully,

The shading on the B&W's is more subtle which brings out the features more. This is why the Monster looks so good. I've seen it on a few other figures and they look just as good. Trevor Grove has always done good sculpts, it's only now that the 'paint' has really done it justice.
The Sculpt is pretty good but the paint is awful (my opinion)
I always prefer the black and white edition since the sideshow line

If I decide to stick with color on this series, I will be repainting the faces on my Wolfman heads. I have some experience with paints, so I can fix it.
I would too. It would seem though that they're not having to adhere to that awful colour chart that other license holders, including Sideshow, were made to follow. The colours are totally wrong, especially when you see the original costumes.

If this is the final release version, it's a definite improvement over the initial photos. I expected the release to be somewhat delayed, but December is not too far off.

Wolfman was originally supposed to see a Thanksgiving release initially, with The Mummy for December. Delays are to be expected given the global supply chain issues, I suppose. But he will make a nice Christmas gift. From me....to me,lol. The paint is vastly improved. Face darkened, trousers darkened, 5 oclock shadow given to Larry. The eyebrows are a bit too pronounced as separate from the rest of the hair growth, but its much, much, better.

Glad he turned out better in production as I had hoped. Neca’s production figures seem to be looking better than the prototypes these days. I guess prototypes aren’t able to use the face printing tech? Might also explain why Hasbro’s pretty much only unveiling figures that are in production or already manufactured these days.

The shipping to the UK is nearly as much as the figure, that's before fees, by then the shipping would be more than the figure. I got mine from a UK retailer and it was cheaper in the long run.
Hey, what UK retailer did you get your Frankenstein's Monster figure from please?

Do you have any more info on the face painting tech?
