We all know he's gonna love it despite it's flaws, but yeah...I look forward to forming my own opinion.

Looks okay to me - I can tell its JG, even thought the likeness isn't incredible.
I have to give props to Hot Toys for including one at all - they didn't really have to.
I will be displaying him with the fishbowl - its the cooler look to me.
But happy and surprised for this late addition - nice!

I'm honestly shocked they didn't mention it before release. I would've preordered it 2 years ago or whenever it went up for PO if it had a sculpt then. So weird. It looks decent to me, the forehead is weird looking though.

Well actually, this comparison now makes me think the eyebrows could be a tad thicker & darker lol...But it might just be the lighting.

Yeah now that you point that out it does look odd. Lighting? Paint apps there in that region. Just across his eyes is very light compared to the surrounding areas. Well I have it on order, so more than likely I'll elect to rock the fish bowl and have the head resting at the feet like I usually do.

I saw these from Jenkin Wong on Facebook. I swear there's a slight bit of a line across his forehead but it's nothing like those promo pics. The promo pics look like part of his face was copied and pasted.

I just like to stick to Hot Toys. Not convinced of quality on 3rd parties just yet, I prefer HT quality. I like to be picky on these expensive dollies and Mysterio is the best so far. I'm sure HT won't make Vulture unless he is in NWH. No worries, just is what it is.

The only thing that seems off to me in these shots are the eyes. They are the wrong shape or something. But a decent likeness and great inclusion nonetheless.

I wonder how many people that said they’d order this if it included the Jake head are going to stay true to their word?

I'm just getting this to go along with their Classic Spider-Man figure. Don't think we're ever getting any other Mysterio figure. It's also gonna go great with SooSooToys Green Goblin.

I dunno, its too mcu techey to work as a comic mysterio. I wouldnt bet against SooSoo making a comic one eventually anyway.

I think you maybe havent seen any of jazzinc's custom stuff. Check out his youtube channel. Way better than what hot toys can do for the money.

I mean the only difference between the MCU and comic Mysterio is the chest plate more or less. Just take that off and there you go. I honestly don't see any company doing a comic based Mysterio. I feel we're lucky enough to even have this figure by Hot Toys. Mysterio isn't exactly a figure companies are eagerly wanting to do. You're more likely to get Green Goblin or Doc Ock.
