That does look very cool and promising but I’m not waiting until 2025 to have a Hot Toys Thor in my collection, which at the rate they’ve been releasing figures is when it’d actually be available.

HT screwed themselves with the delays on this. Its been so long we're getting peaks at the love and thunder version. The blue and gold armor looks a lot more intricate and detailed. EG Thor will probably end up in the discount bin :(View attachment 529496
HT also screwed themselves by producing an EG Thor prototype that wasn't very appealing. The likeness looks off to me and the sculpted beard/loaf of bread just doesn't look as cool. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised by the final product, but I doubt it.

And this is why HT have pretty much lost all of my business. Every release is now a question of "Will I give two s-ts about this 2-3 years from now?"

Exactly. The long wait times takes away from the fun. I cannot get excited over anything 2 years away not including delays after it's released. Love and Thunder drops next spring so it will be close to 2024 before we get any figures from it.

If Hot Toys doesn’t pick up their release pace instead of announcing 4 figures for every one that they ship, they wouldn’t even hit 2024. Plus add a half-year for Sideshow to mail the thing.

Can always stick to buying what’s actually in-stock instead of collecting pre-orders. I know i’m not going to be placing any more orders until I’ve seen final product photos and video reviews.

I have a feeling that Thor will be released upon official images of Thor in Thor 4.

We got Venomized Groot released this week. <insert Steven Wright "yay"> I am hoping EG Thor releases next week, but honestly I have stopped worrying about these and they'll get here when they get here.

Yep i don't even think about my orders anymore until i get a shipping soon email

From Sideshow’s booth, this may be our first look at the final product. Compared to the prototype, the braiding on his chin is smaller and tighter. Anyone spot any other differences?

Ah ok. He does look more heavy set on the blur pic then the other one. Lol Boy, that 85 looking sick as hell.

Hmm, the sculpt overall looks to be an improvement. I initially wrote this figure off, but it may have a chance now.

I think Sideshow saw a different cut of Endgame where Tony and his nanolightning refocuser go on a buddy cop road trip adventure.
