Am I missing something here? After a quick price check of the sold listings on Ebay he isn't even going for a very high price. Around $240-265. After fees you wouldn't even make a profit selling him.

Yeah Malgus. It is a business. You see demand increase, so you manufacture more product. Where is the problem in that? You talk about scalpers: The issue is when there is not enough product, and too high of a demand, the product value increases and the scalpers make it even more expensive for us collectors to buy in the aftermarket.

Still loving mine, glad they are doing another run for those who missed out.

I also missed the first run - glad they'll be doing a second run. It's nice that people will get a second crack at this without being screwed over by the eBayers who only buy these to profit off of.

I don't really care if they do another run, it's a fairly new figure. I have to be honest though, I find it rather annoying when people say they "missed out". Nobody missed out. The damn thing was on preorder for over a year probably and I don't think it sold out immediately either. Take some responsibility for **** sake, you simply chose not to buy it...for whatever reason.

The above rant is not directed at anyone specific in this thread but rather a general statement about the behavior of folks all across this board over the last couple years. Rant over.

True, just say you passed on it the first time.

As far as the figure though, it’d be interesting to see if they make any tweaks to the sculpt at all, such as perhaps giving it another wash like they did with the apps on the RotJ Luke deluxe figure to give it a bit more detail. Though imo, since the JW franchise is continuing, HT should just make another figure that’s based on the third and now the fourth film, since this current one is based on the second and somewhat the first.

"Missed out" just seemed like an easier way of saying "I prioritized hobby money elsewhere and put this on the backburner, and by the time I went to go buy it, it was sold out, but what can you do?"

Fair enough, I'm not trying to roast you. Some people just feel as if they are entitled to buy whatever they want at retail price whenever they feel like it. Life doesn't work that way. I bet the same folks are happy to pick up less popular figures off Ebay on the cheap while the seller takes a big loss.

A these greedy reissues will mean the typical giant edition sizes will be even greater. The retailers have to be smart or they will be left holding these figures for years.
