Maybe my english is not good enough ("For a recast & quality and no limitaion this is too expensive imo.") - but was just talking about the price.
Every figure is limited somehow and doing things more often should be cheaper. Also cultking is mass production imo, but the price is fair, they do quality and they have to take a risk and I can't see big profit there.

So you think $160 is too much for this figure? How much do you think this should be? Honestly curious.

They?re just jealous because they sold a kidney to pay theirs and now it?s available for cheap.

Weird attitude! I?ve participated in custom orders, paid a high price and saw the same being recasted for cheap later on. Was I pissed? Nope on the contrary, now I could get several more!

People need to (re)learn how to respect one another.

If you have the original Iminime Piece, that's great. Enjoy it. If you want to save money and get the Redman, also great. Enjoy it. Theres 0 point in being a ********* either way.

I have a few coveted customs in my collection that I paid a premium price for, if, say tomorrow Redman releases a "nasty recast" of it, hey, I'm fine with that because I have the original. [emoji2369]

Oh and also because I'm a mature adult who isnt going to get ******** over dolls.

You are one hundred percent right. Sadly, I get everything shifted in this less than healthy situation because of HT. Before, it used to be a nice hobby. Then HT came and what was some sort of garage kit activity turned into a real business. Prices, both for official and custom production increased to the point of the whole hobby becoming an investment for some. It ruined the good natured spirit of the whole thing imho.

So, understandably, people who buy with the idea of reselling at a profit one day or people living by the elitist idea that they possess a rare item others can’t get and showing it off as a piece of art are gonna get pissed....which they shouldn’t. This world is full of Joconda copies and there’s only a real one, but the copies allow for every kind of people to enjoy their part of the treasure.

And imo if that is the reason people collect, then they are doing it wrong.

It should be about the passion and love for the source material. And supporting each others collections because you have a passion and love for the same thing. Not tearing each other down. [emoji2369]
