That face looks more and more like Mic Jagger than Hamill.

Agreed. An upgraded Bespin Luke is well overdue. I'm hoping for parts from this.

I’d like to bet the production figure will have an all new head sculpt and hair piece. This kinda reminds me of what they did with Hobo Luke where it was shown at a con with TFA Luke’s head, then brand new head on PO. I’d be very surprised if they just reissued the old sculpt.

True, but this time they made an entirely new hairpiece, rather than simply using an old head. That effort makes me think this might be the actual head.

Why would they go to fairly major effort/expense to create a new hair piece that just so happens to fit the old ROTJ face sculpt? It's possible the hairpiece also fits a new Bespin sculpt, but why is the new hair ready and the new face not? And what are the chances that the hair from an all-new Bespin head would perfectly fit the old ROTJ sculpt?

Given most HT heads have different methods for hair-head matching, its kinda unlikely. I think this is the head.

That was major LOL because it kinda looks like a fig.

It actually looks a bit like BDW's son who played Klaatu Skiff in ROTJ.

They used the bowl for the ROTJ 'do - this is ESB hair.

Well they used the bowl, doesn't mean they didn't make other options.

Whatever it is, it looks unfinished to me. We'll see how quickly this goes up for PO.

- Not worried about the side-eye. I think it'll either have IRE (Independent Rolling Eyes) or face forward.

- Like every Hamill sculpt ever (barring BD DX07) it feels off, but less so than almost every other one. A bit idealized, a bit wide in the mouth, sure. But it so far conveys a good Bespin vibe to me.

- Not worried about the boots. They'll almost certainly improve in production.

I'm in for this. Of course, it'll probably take 1.5 to 2 years to get to us, but it looks good to me. And honestly -- all credit to BD DX07 which is currently GOAT but I think this one is better than clean DX07. The latter has like 1 or 2 good angles and the rest is all Mark Singer + Kevin Bacon's lovechild.

I hope for people who didn't get the DX figure that this will be a nice item for them. The DX was one of my first figures by hot toys. I am waiting to see what final product looks like but may get the new belt and if the shirt is longer in the sleeves that as well. The boots look a little odd in design. Overall the DX set I have is great except for the damn shirt sleeves and collar.

I have no plans to buy this one because i have the DX7 and the DX7 comes with way more stuff. But for a single figure its good for those who didn't get him.

That’s a downgrade compared to the DX headsculpt in my opinion. Also why does he look so buff?! Hamill was extremely fit and athletic in ESB. This guy looks like he’s been on a heavy protein diet with a weight training program *
