I have the 07 and I would buy this too, but the sideways eyes! The eyes really only work for the pose he is in (which is the same pose I have my 07 in). If they change the eye position, I may double dip. This will need accessories also.

I'm going to have to go back and find ANH Luke. I missed out on the first Bespin and skipped ANH convincing myself to get only ROTJ.

Yeah, the cut-sew on the jacket definitely looks better than the v.1. And yet v.1 was a massive improvement over the Sideshow one.

No kidding.

What I find the most humorous though, is people’s view towards the sculpt. Apparently on RotJ Luke, it’s a mediocre sculpt. But when it looks to be pretty much the same sculpt on Bespin Luke, it’s a good sculpt.

I’m in the minority, but I’ve always felt both DX07 sculpts to be the best HT OT Luke sculpts.

I think there’s something slightly off on the clean head (could even be the paint) but I absolutely love the battle-damaged sculpt, with the clean hair it’s unbeatable.

I could be wrong, but I think the clothes might just be the same ones as the DX07 prototype.

I have the dx7 but I wouldn’t mind getting an extra belt for my dx7 from this one because the lightsaber clip never came with mine for some odd reason lolol

Interesting. I still own the battle damaged version of the DX, but might pick this up if it comes out well. Honestly more curious about the tailoring and whatnot than the headsculpt... IMO the sculpts on DX07 are still pretty good with the right PERS posing

The battle damaged DX07 is one of my favorite figures and still holds up. I sold off my clean version, but love the battle damaged one.

Hot Toys just can’t sculpt Mark Hamill, but in saying that this looks the best so far. Still need better photos but looks promising.

I hope that's a placeholder, because otherwise I really don't see the point here. The only major flaw with the other figure (apart from crappy glue) was the sculpt, and this doesn't look any better to my eyes. But this was the childhood figure that inspired Howard Chan to take on the license if memory serves, so I guess that explains it?

I have the old dx bespin luke and this isn't much of an upgrade and not worth the presumed price point. The dx luke was one of the great value for money packages produced by hot toys . Was naive enough to think hot toys would deliver us a bespin Han this show
