None of this would have be confusing if they had just kept Gibson. Fury Road and this have nothing to do with the originals other than easter eggs and the vaguest of connections. Best not to bother yourself with trying to figure it out. It's a contemporary take on classic tells. Very contemporary.

If you're referring to the as yet unmade Mad Max: The Wasteland movie, I believe it takes place in the year before Fury Road.

I think that looks pretty good, certainly a high quality presentation all around. Granted, it does look a little "pretty", I get that, but I wouldn't mind having that as a representation of the character.

Beyond Thunderdome gets a bad rap. It's not anywhere as good as it should be but it still feels aesthetically in line with MM2.
